I asked my coworkers if they could all make me a list of the office supplies they needed for the week and then I was going to head over to the discount office supplies store and pick them up. I had been doing this ritual for three years now, once a week. I never get repaid for my gas and I usually have lots more work piled on my desk at the end of the day when I take time off to go to the discount office supplies store.

When I got to the store and started to compile all the office supplies on everyone’s lists, one of the girls that works there told me that the store owner was having a website built that would allow people to order online and either pay a small delivery fee, or just pull up and have it loaded into their cars. I was so happy; I think that I jumped for joy. I could always just place the order, by coming in early one day and then if I felt like taking some time and driving to the discount office supplies store then I could, but if not then I would just hit the delivery button and just stay at the office and wait for it to come.

I was not looking forward to signing all the necessary paperwork that I thought it would take to get my no medical life exam insurance policy in place. The only plan that my associates have come up with to fix our current dilemma ,with the down servers, is to call the repairman. I was hoping for something a little less obvious than that but then the new guy stepped up carrying his laptop and suggested that we consider buying some used servers that have been refurbished and would run just like a new one but they are only about one third of the price.

I may be able to convince the owner to go for that since without servers, we pretty much have no business. I am going to send him an email this morning with the details of the used poweredge servers that we have all voted on getting and the prices compared to the many repair bills we have had and will continue to have if we do not buy the used servers.

My boss has sent a response back to the email and he is going to look it over and decide if this is the right move for our office or not over the weekend. So, for the rest of this week and for the weekend we will be down and just all hoping that the big guy says yes to buying the used servers to get us back up and running.

My brother had called and invited us to come over and see all the work that he had recently done on his house. I knew that they had put in some new windows, and replaced their roof but I did not know that they had installed iron entry doors and iron gates to match. I loved the look of the house, in fact, it had changed so much that we almost passed it when we drove onto his street. If it not for my nephew standing in the yard, we may have just done that.

I asked him to give me the name of the company that he had gotten the iron gates and doors from and he did just that. I kept telling him how great it all looked and he was happy that I liked it. It had taken them about four months to get it looking exactly like they wanted it.

The very next day, I contacted the company that my brother and his wife had used to get their iron entry doors and gates to see if I could make an appointment to visit their showroom. I did just that the following morning and picked out some beautiful iron gates and doors and they will be installed in about two weeks.

I have been trying to research which of the refurbished system x servers would be most compatible with my office set up. I have known that we needed some new ones for the last year or so, but it was just not in the budget until now. I had to really do some begging and cash in some favors but I finally got the approval from the accounting department to order some system x servers to replace the old ones.

I would like to have seen the xseries servers that we bought five years ago last for at least five more but just like with all computer equipment, it is outdated very quickly. The amount of work that these xseries serves takes on is huge. I have been told that we were lucky that we got the amount of time out of them that we did.

The next time that the computer dude comes up here, I am going to have him sit down at my computer and order the system s servers that he thinks will work for our office. He is the one that will be installing them, so he will know which is best. I trust him to make a wise choice and to keep the price low also.

The interior painters that were hired would be the last contractors in my newly added on master bedroom. I had started the whole construction process, about two months ago. The job had hit many snags in the early stages of the project. I had to pay to have some new wiring, that we did not plan on doing and then I had to hire some exterior painters in Reading PA to match up the outside paint to the existing paint on the house. That was a lot harder than I thought it would be.

The interior painters were scheduled to do the job, two weeks ago but since the other contractors were pushed back with the little setbacks that we had, that also pushed back the interior painters. I was excited to think that as soon as they were done that I would be able to move into my new room and close the door on contractors for a while.

When the exterior painters in Reading PA were here, they let me know that I should really have the entire house repainted this spring to make the new room look like it blends better. At least when they do that, they will be outside of the house and not in my way.

My parents had decided to add on a sunroom to the back of their house and I set them up with a contactor friend of mine to do the job. I knew that he would take care of my parents and not take advantage of them. I had used him many times and was always pleased with his quality of work.

It seemed that the biggest thing they needed to decide was the size of the room and what kind of windows they wanted to use. I had been reading some magazines that talked about the best kinds of windows on the market today. I had just put composite double hung windows into my house but knew that my parents probably needed to use casement windows in their new sunroom.

The casement windows would let in more sunlight and they could still open them if they wanted to. The composite double hung windows that I had in my house would not look good because they had that line going through the middle of them. They were okay for my house, but a sunroom deserved to have casement windows that let in the light and ones that you could look out and see nature in.

After the sunroom was completed and the casement windows were in, I knew that they had made the right choice. I was glad to have helped them with this project.

I needed to find someone who did water damage repair. The day that I was going to close on my house, we had a very hard rain and the rain decided to come into the basement. I had never had a drop of water in the basement before, and of all days for it to decide to come in, this was not a good one. The couple that was buying the house came over to do their final walk thru and discovered it. I had not been in the basement that morning or I would have seen it first.

They have agreed to allow me to pay the water damage repair bill and sign papers that if any other repairs need to be done because of this issue, I will be liable. I had already paid for their closing costs and for a roofing company to install a completely, down to the decking roof.

I really could not afford to pay for the roofing company but needed to sell this house before it was foreclosed upon. I had no idea where I was going to get the funds to pay the water damage repair bill but I had to agree to it or they would have walked away from the whole deal.
