Tracing the History of NLP

NLP, the collection of tools and methodologies to bring in the light of a better living, shares its origin in the seventh decade of twentieth century. The originators of NLP are considered to be Richard Bandler, a mathematics student, and John Grinder, a linguistic professor. Both these people tried to analyze the human behavior, which is solely governed by human minds, and ultimately resulted in providing three components fro human behavior including Neurology, Language and Programming.

The research work carried out by these two perfectionists is included in two of their books called The Structure of Magic Vol1 and Vol2. These two books included the verbal as well as non verbal behaviors of human minds, which helped to gain an access on better living conditions. These studies stressed on modes of representing information, which included:

    * Visionary information as expressed by human eyes
    * Auditory information as expressed by human ears
    * Information expressed through skin

The brain is the most complex unit of human body. The neurons present in the brain follows the rules of brain language and compel human body to perform programs according to linguistic information provided by brain.

The idea of NLP in business caught flame in 1980s and proved to be an alternative for other processes of tracking human minds. The main reasons for the popularity of NLP, as life coach training, include its efficient approach in:

    * Calculating the negative points of human behavior
    * Improving the working efficiency of a person
    * Enhancing the mental level of a person
    * Imparting managerial and leadership qualities in a person

The NLP training is a celebrated approach in improving the human behavior psychologically and will remain intact for many coming years.
