Helped Find The Iseries Server
My friend Tom asked me to help him locate one of the iseries servers to buy and have installed into his new law practice that was opening in about four months. I told him that I was not very computer illiterate and he said that as long as I found one that met all the specifications he needed, I did not need to know anything else.
I started by looking at different local computer stores and they did not have exactly what he needed. I then turned to the internet and typed in iseries servers into the search engine. I could not believe how many were for sale. There were quite a few used ones for sale and lots of new ones also. I wrote down everything that I could and gave it to Tom to have him make a final decision.
The iseries server that he chose also came with a used ibm printer; he said that for helping him that I could have the used ibm printer for my office. He had been to my office and seen my printer and I guess that he thought I needed a new one.
Tom got his server and I got a new but used printer that actually worked really well compared to my old printer. Tom was able to open up his law practice on time and it is doing very well.
