Careers With Color Me

I am a volunteer at the music department for our local school corporation. Music has always interested me so it was only right I get involved since I have kids in the program. Every year we do a fund raiser to raise money for traveling to different schools for events and for new props and things for music program throughout the year.

This past year a local business donated all their used dell computers and poweredge servers to the department. We were extremely excited because we knew we could bring in some much needed money. Many people are always looking for a good used computer.

We knew not many people would know what used poweredge servers were so we just advertised it as whole computer setups. There was no need to bore them with details and confuse them about what we had. The poweredge servers worked well with the used dell computers before so we just left them together and sole them as a complete computer setup.

It was a very good weekend sale for the music department, we did well over ten grand that weekend and it really helped because gas prices soared that summer. I even purchased one of the dell and server setups for myself and I can tell you they work great.
